Margot Marlatt
Executive Director

Margot Marlatt was hired as Artistic Director
for the Chamber Music Society in July of 2005. As of January
1, 2009 her role has been changed to Executive Director. She earned
her High School diploma from the Interlochen Arts Academy, then
went on to receive both a Bachelor and a Master of Music
in Cello Performance.
In addition to her duties as Executive Director,
Margot works as a freelance cellist in the Indianapolis Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony and
is the owner of Classical
Music Agency. Margot moved
to Lafayette from New York City in 1992 with her husband.

Jeff Boswell
President
Jeff Boswell is retired from the Lafayette School Corporation
after teaching orchestra at Tecumseh Jr. High and Jefferson High School
for 41 years. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Music degrees
from Ball State University and served as principal bass with the Lafayette
Symphony for nearly 20 years. He is still an active freelance bassist,
performing around the Lafayette area in various dance bands, most notably
The Big
Swing Band.
While enjoying retirement, he still enjoys volunteering
in the schools, working with student music groups and giving private
lessons.
In addition, he collaborates with his wife, Jane, to teach
the pottery classes at the Art Museum of Greater
Lafayette.
